I will visit the mute giants, the residents of the castle, and anyone else I meet to plan for a massive trick, where Ravana finds the Gardens empty.

We'll prepare hidden bunkers, which may eventually be screened with further help from the DM. We'll lay in supplies, weapons, and connections to the outside world. We'll be far from the known transmitters: Earnaness' spawn's, the Sslugs, maybe places where the Trickster has been?

Maybe I can enlist @Tiger Henge and @Volatilus to help make plants cover everything as though we've been away a while?

The contingency plan is, should a hostile Ravana arrive, to be able to present a Garden abandoned out of fear. I will volunteer to stay aboveground as a terracotta gardener allegedly responsible for maintaining things that need maintained.

Yes Great Thrash I am here.
She begins planting and blessing a herbal and medical garden on the opposite of the side of the entrance(s).
Before the entrance 20 feet away ringing this side on the landscape are every kind of bush and brier
from berry to rose. In the center of the brier are two great rose bushes one blood red the other snow white.
Both rose bushes are enchanted to bless everyone that burns the rose petals in shadow the ability to
cast that enchantment for one hour, The red is with melt into stone and the white, tree shape.

The entrance(s) to hidden bunkers are screened with young ash growing
in natural formations shadowing any break in the wall. The vines and moss
also cover the space as if it were solid rock.

In the middle herbal and medical garden on raised stone floor. I build a
gazebo shine depicting the nature goddess of forest and field (me)
going to all the caverns of Thrash waking him from him long slumber
and rising sailcloth fames of fire and shadow by my side,

What have you done so far ta catch it? I could rig up a device based on principles of light refraction.

We know little, and have done little. We are attempting to appear to have vanished from the realms, leaving nothing behind but shattered wastelands and a terracotta gardener played by Thrash. I have woven an illusion around the transmitters that summon Ravana, and AIiCE has supported it from a more... technological perspective.

I think Durin meant to catch the shadow - didn't you say you made some rig that it escaped?

Ah, of course. I made a rig to observe it, not yet to catch it. I created a system of mirrors and reflective crystals, which it simply shattered come morning.

Yeah, OK. I set up an invisible prism network, tune th' diffraction an' refraction indices ta polyroute light around its perimeter once a fission-bright bulb is activated upon th' shadow's entrance.

I still need a bait.

"Hm. Bait for something with unknown needs and motivations? That's tricky. Let's try curiosity." My avatar flickers and warps until I look small, round, and shadowy like the shadow. I flit around the prism network, bringing a thread of HELRIDE with me so I can get out again if the trap is sprung.

AIICE VS THE TINY SHADOW
Tier: Inclusion vs Inclusion
Domain: Electronics vs Darkness
Weakness: None vs ???
Equipment: HELRIDE vs none
Circumstance: Trap vs none
Spell: Light refraction vs none
Allies: Yerkan, Durin vs none
Insight: None vs none

AIiCE watches the Shadow approach. It stops briefly at the first refractive mirror, facing it. Where the shadow has passed, the mirror is dark and reflects no light. The keen senses and instruments of Yerkan and AIiCE show that the Shadow is made measurably larger by consuming this concentrated light.

The shadow is indeed curious - at any rate, it approaches the insides of the unconventional trap. AIiCE, you believe it can sense that something is not quite right about your altered avatar, or that it can sense something of your avatar's true nature. This is no ordinary shadow and does not treat light as ordinary light.

You fear for your essence and prepare to make use of the HELRIDE.

@AIiCE, you may submit a roll to determine whether the shadow is captured.

Either way, the Council will learn something about the shadow from this experiment.
