The Marsh leads to an area of rolling terrain. The crowded, twisting foothills of the Heights lead into a towering mountain.

Diamond is thrust up against the immovable object of the Border Volcano, creating a towering cliff.
The mountainous terrain looms over the plains below, leaving a cold shadow, insulated by a world's worth of mineral.
And different worlds have made contributions - far off, near the peak, there is reinforced high-tech concrete in those heights intermingled with limestone caves carved by water.

Nor bites the bug to cripple it for now, deciding there must be more shiny in the mountains and caves, dragons and trolls live in cave, troll and dragon like shiny. Nor like shiny. Nor scampers up the nearest foot hill to try to get a better view, searching for the best route and shinys.

Something big and sparkly catches your attention. Here, several ecosystems come together. There is a small forest of ancient, gnarled oak trees, with cardinals singing in the boughs. There is a small pond of frogs, pond scum, and dragonflies. There is a mini-desert made entirely out of tiny, bright gems and little flakes of gold, with water-bloated toads living beneath the surface. Text has been etched on a diamond in the desert, saying:

“VFUJQ QET FGDDGH, HUEMQ QET OFUEL.

LXUOL VUZF HGBIQ UX HSI QSUFHIQH UEL!”

What do you do?

Nor looks at the set, deciding which is the shiniest of the shinys, deciding the diamond takes priority. Nor picks up the diamond, shakes it a bit, then walks to the pond. Clearing his throat, he addresses the pond, "Hello small ones, the Nor would like to know if any of yous know this says," pointing at the diamond's etching.

The frogs simply croak.

"Hmmmm...." Nor carries it to the toads and the cardinals, repeating the question.

None of the animals seem self-aware or capable of speech.

Nor dips the diamond into the pond and sets it in the gem desert to see if it reacts at all.

No, the diamond seems to be inert.

Nor put the diamond in his pouch as well as some of the desert gems and gold, continuing on towards the mountain.
