The trees grow very close together here, and vines crisscross the gaps between them. Even tiny creatures must choose their paths carefully.

You think you can hear one such small creature cawwing in one direction, but you are unsure if it is an echo from the Heights across the way.

The jungle peels back as if in fear of Nor, revealing stone walls beyond. The path is much simplified, and you spot the gleam of diamond beyond some small trees.

You come upon an enormous sheet hung from hooks in the branches. A tiny diamond box sits on the ground a short distance from the sheet.
When you touch the box, or speak a command to it, the screen flares to life with images projected from the tiny cube. You see the rise and fall of a galaxy, in exquisite, stunning detail. Readouts answer your every curiosity as to the nature of each celestial event you see.

And all this is nothing but a boot screen. The real treasure lies beyond – a simulation so perfect, so long in the calculation, that it is reality.

Then a blinking prompt appears.

Nor sits and reflects upon the wisdom of his ancestors and after some thought says, "Nor believes the password to be '42'."

"Password? Reality?" Nor searches around for clues, hoping for an inscription of some form.

You find no hints, Nor. Neither "password" nor "reality" cause any change.
