1. A Sandy Beach

A peaceful bay?
The water is blood-red and the sandy bottom seems to boil just below its surface.
At one end, the bay fades into a jungle.
At the other it is flanked by a rocky height which borders the Lava Molt's volcano.

1. A Sandy Beach

Did you know:
[*]Rule #1 of the Diamond Pantheon is that you can do whatever you want unless someone is stopping you.
[*]In the Diamond Pantheon, it is assumed that what you say goes. You're a god, so act like it! Only in rare circumstances when you are countered by another deity do you need to worry about whether you succeed on an action. Therefore, you can leap right into the story and start saying actions based on what your deity would do. You want laser beams? You got laser beams.

The Dark Entryway leads through a long tunnel to a sandy beach.

Some obvious choices would be to explore the beach, search for a way across the bay toward a jungle, head toward the place where the bay fades into marsh, or try to gain elevation.

What do you do?

I'll take to the beach, feeling the boiling mud between my toes. I'll walk up and down the shore until I find a landmark or a passage.

You find a deep channel carved into the sand, with shallow water in the bottom. The channel twists and turns and eventually splits into several forks.
You hear a crashing sound coming from one fork. The other forks sound quiet.

I will head toward the marsh. I am at home in such places, for they are quite common on Dunia.

That leaves me to try for the jungle. Can I simply walk around the bay, or will I have to find a way over or through? I poke the water with a stick.

Your stick makes the plunking sound of wood against wood. Bending down, you notice a sunken boat.

To walk around the bay would require you to brave the marsh and the mountainous heights anyway.

You wander over to the marsh.

I'll take the crashing fork, ready to meld down into the sand if I'm attacked.

Or maybe I'll just bodyslam it. We'll see.

Puzzle ID #: 1
Attempts: 1 attempt per player per set
Resets: 1 (2 total eggs available) - Reset and now available for a new discoverer!
Time: 8 days - reset and now available for a new discoverer!
Special: Up to five players allowed

At the end of the sandy channel, a layer of flotsam floats in the bay. Waves come in, depositing shards of wood and metal against those already washed up on the beach.

A small chaos rift has opened on the beach. Pieces of junk swirl about the rift. Crows and seagulls crowd about, diving in and out of the whirling wreckage.

You eventually realize what they are after: A bright, shiny, egg made of diamond! It flies in and out of sight, buffeting randomly between the chaos of driftwood.

Gather 2-4 more people here to help you.

Each of you rolls a d20.
Rolls in the Pantheon are usually made in secret by the Lady.

Whoever got here first gets a +2 on their roll. Highest one wins the egg!

"Huh. For some reason I was expecting something much less...scenic."

I spot Thrash doing his little golem hop and head over.
