By now, you probably know at least a bit about the Month of Meddle.

The aim of this post is to get you all ready to play. Deities new to the Pantheon are especially welcomed, but our vets should play too!

Overview

  • While in the Labyrinth, your goal is to explore and solve parts of the Labyrinth until you find a monster or two hidden within. You then add the monster to the collection. It might be a hydra to fight, a stag to catch, or something helpful. These are called "pawns" or "game pieces" or "Frozen Threads."
You may use any resource available to you, such as Google and Wikipedia.
    .
  • Either way, it is your job to find another campaign world to send that member of your collection. There, mortal player characters will encounter it, and the game master will report what happened. Then you both get paid! (2 DM Favor, 1 Norn Favor). If you like, you can send your collection to multiple places (only the first is paid.)
    .
  • Things made of diamond (adamas) tend to resist a god's actions as well. So as you go through the Labyrinth, expect to face puzzles that will not just bend over in defeat when you say so.
    .
  • Many of the important places in the Labyrinth will have a link at the bottom to the "next" place, or places nearby. You can also feel free to browse freestyle if you like.
    .
Purple boxes like this indicate a summary of the contents of the action threads, so you can catch up quite quickly!

    .
  • You have a set of basic forum statistics. The most important of these are your Tier (level), Domain (specialties), and Favor (currency). In the next step of the Labyrinth you will organize your statistics. You'll start out as a Hero Deity, also called Demigod, also called Inclusion Tier.
    .

Got it?

If you have questions, send a private message to the Diamond Master or post that you need help.

More details to come in thread 3.

If that mostly makes sense, proceed to the Gear and Equipment room.
