Good day. I am Yerkan of Elish, a once-mortal deity whose explorations have shown the vastness of the meta-multiverse and the countless opportunities for travel. I was born on the planet Thrash and was trained as a gardener. Over time, my studies of theoretical arcana and physics brought me knowledge of the Diamond Pantheon, to which I came with @Great Thrash himself.

Once here, I built my own world, known as Rivenrock, out of a shattered continent. I am the travelling knowledge-seeker, the discoverer of worlds, and the thrice-slain of the Council.

Though I appear old and crochety, do not fear me; I welcome conversation, debate, and argument with all individuals, including my enemies.

"Yerkan, what do you mean about being 'thrice-slain'?"

Oooooh, hey you thing things! I am the Nor, bringers of the Purple! This place smell funny, it all smeeeells like Nor boots! See see see?

[Yerkan of Elish]

"Well... Hello to you too."

I hesitate briefly, as rivers carve out canyons and volcanoes erupt back on Dunia.

"I suppose it is always quite fascinating to see the different creatures that work under the same names in different Facets. In my world, kobolds are very different from what I see before me now."

[Nor Dingkundar]

"So are us. But Nor is Nor, not other not Nors. Not Nors has despicably few shinys."
Nor gestured to the multitude of piercings on Nor's coverings with Nor's ring covered hands, followed by the silky silver suit of mail Nor is wearing. Nor looks down at the erupting volcanoes and shifts the gravity above them so the eruptions send magma nearly into orbit, cackling like a lunatic as Nor watches gleefully.
"Then 'gen, you not Nor either. Your shinys not compare to great shiny of Nor."
Nor eyes up Yerkan for shiny objects, metal and jewelry.

I typically travel in the guise of a fortune teller, wearing blacks, purples, and occasionally greens. There is not a single trace of jewelry upon my present form. Beneath my skin, however, you detect quantities of metals that would be lethal to any human mortal: quicksilver runs through my veins, and pure adamant ore is embedded within my muscle, skin, and bone. I raise one eyebrow as Nor glances at me.

"By thrice-slain I mean exactly that. I have been killed three times. That was, of course, back when I was mortal."

This reply only makes me more curious, but I've dimmed way down and am staying quiet for the moment. Much as I like attention, I like it to be because I'm a technological marvel, not because I'm 'shiny'.

[Nor Dingkundar]

Nor sniffs Yerkan. "You not got shiny, but smells the shiny. You hiding shiny mean your shiny nothing compared to Nor," Nor says puffing his chest, turning attention to the mechanical marvel. "You, shine-bot, you not right shine for horde. Be better shine, then Nor add you to horde." Nor punctuated this with a blast into the sky from his staff, spewing an enormous blast of fireworks into the air, all purple.

Vanity wins out. I crank up my avatar to blinding brilliance. The central sphere's dazzling glow throbs softly, broken only briefly by the rotating rings as they spin, beads of light sliding around them. Sparks of blue fly outward, fading to nothing as they go.
