Diamond Pantheon

This "tawny animal" has proven to be very elusive. We have had success with the dragon. What will we do about this new thing? I don't worry about the trilobites, and Yerkan has begun experiments with them anyway.

Maybe ignoring it would be the best move? Sometimes teasers just want attention.

They have not done anything directly threatening; to me they seem highly ambivalent. I am highly wary and distrustful of them, but they have not done anything to directly sabotage or damage us... I am willing to tentatively take them at their word that they are here "for the game." Though whether they are playing or just watching remains to be seen.

I will not seek to interfere or interact with them, but if something new and worrying comes up regarding them I will not hesitate to react.

I say 'e may need watchin'

That may be difficult. None of us has even seen the sneak... merely pawprints in the sand and laughter in the trees. Any knowledge that can be had regarding the creature will, of course, be valuable... But if focusing on the cat-like sneak distracts us from the coming heralds, we have not spent our time wisely.

On the other hand, I am curious beyond measure. The heralds barely interest me; they seem foolish and needlessly destructive. I see little beauty in them. The cat on the other is intriguing and I wish to learn more...

So pragmatically, as a member of the council, I suggest we focus more on the task of defeating the next herald and ending the threat of the coming Nidhogg. As Yerkan of Elish, however, I have no greater desire than to understand this creature... Curses!

That may solve our problem then. You can watch; we'll focus on the heralds and grab you as you're needed.
