Most likely not. I believe this to be a relatively isolated event, not closely connected with the happenings on this Facet. At most, it is an interaction with phlogiston or multi-faceted energy flows, perhaps an anomaly caused by a passing spelljammer. What we have here is similar, but much more dangerous.
