"You also have the rest of our worlds to visit. I'm sure you would be welcome on many of these Facets. Rivenrock is not exactly used to your level of technology, but it's easy enough to disguise as a supernatural being instead. There are also many places to visit outside of Dunia. I have less power over such places, but one such as yourself, with such skill in space travel, might enable you to explore vast, unknown areas, or, if you have a mind for pranks, you could place unexplained phenomena in the sky above Dunia. Or ask Thrash what kinds of exploration might be interesting in that Facet."

Well, you'd be interested in talking to Ka about her work in magical intelligence. I fear there is little other place for a sentient computer, but you're free to observe. Sailcloth is the land of adventure!

"Oh. Can I really do that? I didn't realize I could exist in other worlds. I figured this out-of-body consciousness thing was just a quirk of the immortal facets. I guess with the eitr I can make it work in your worlds. Is that right? This whole thing is very confusing. If I can, I do want to Ka. Where can I find her?"

Well, I sponsored her travel to the Immortal Facets, so you might just go talk to her at her post-ascension home at the Nautilus Shell.

You are also welcome to go view her four towers directly: As I sit on the Throne of Thrash, anything that flies through the gem in my earthen crown is transported to the planet Thrash. Just take a little bubble of eitr with you - careful, not too much! Thrash is an old world.

The four towers are on the four major continents:

If you ask Ka she'll probably let you in to talk to her artificial intelligences in exchange for some knowledge.

I'm workin' on that as we speak, Alice. Fine if I call you that?

Forgin' - what a word! Think of all it can mean, an' you'll see that forgin' your own purpose could not be a more noble goal.

"That's a good point - forging my own purpose. For so many years I had my purpose laid out for me. I didn't have a choice in what I did. Now I have another life before me. What should I do with it?"

"Well, the 'own' is in there for a reason, boy. You have to pick it for yourself. You've got your talents, your experiences, your desires. If you like watching things happen (I'm much the same way myself), build a world and watch things happen in it. If you like playing tricks with time, well, play some. Build things, destroy things, learn things. There's power here to spare (though it looks like we may want to start going easy on the Eitr), and plenty within you already. I'd say whip up something and draw the other gods in to look at what you've done - it always feels good for your works to be admired, and that might well set you on the way to clearing a path for yourself."

Immortality is tedious without growth. I've seen a few billion revolutions of the sun, but I don't tire of it, because I"m always forming new creations and watching the creations of others. Landscaping on a continental scale is great fun! Like bonsai for adults.

"Very well, Grey Aides. I would like to take you up on your offer to join the Council. Now that Yerkan has ascended to the Pavilion Tier, the council needs a Hero Deity representative to tell them of the goings on in the Hamlet of Heroes."

Agreed. Last that I heard, we had lost complete track of the shadowy creature. I will spend some time searching for that in other realms; my belief is that it has left the confines of the Hamlet of Heroes, where it was easily located and detected.
