"What them crunch if there no crunchies by? Fling Sslugs to empty facet. Or Nor could try to fling them to Nor home, but Nor not sure how work. Nor never open door to home, so Nor not know if can. Nor home is.... how say? Treblesun?"

"... AIiCE, whoever did your programming didn't do a very good job with the whole morals thing, did they?

"As for flinging them into an empty Facet, that's a much better idea."

"Heh. Isn't there a large portion of your algorithm designed to keep you from interfering overmuch in the affairs of underdeveloped planets, AIiCE? I am surprised that such safeguards wouldn't kick in here, since practically any facet is going to be, from the perspective of those such as us, extremely underdeveloped."

"That rule was set by my government, and is clearly out of scope here. We're gods. All you and your council do is meddle in the affairs of less developed facets. You love to meddle so much you have a special month for it. Besides, the point of that rule was to prevent cultures from advancing unhealthily quickly and causing us (the Origin system) trouble. Nobody could cause the Pantheon trouble unless they were a god, and if somebody sees the sslug and ascends to the Pantheon, wouldn't that be a good thing? We are trying to recruit.

"Nevertheless, flinging the sslugs into an empty facet does seem like the best course of action."

I'll redirect the AVALANCHE to point toward whatever riftings Nor and AIiCE can cook up.

I honestly do not expect that flinging them away will help us in the long run, and adding Nor's "bacon" will only detract from that I feel. It's best if the sslugs remain uninteresting, floating bags of goo and programming in some empty Facet, not some sort of bait attracting all sorts of who-knows-what to that world. It's a good short term strategy, even if Ravana will undoubtedly find them eventually.

"So the plan is to tie a frosted thread to a sslug and throw it through a portal and see what happens. Either the sslug with go through and help tie the multiverse together, or it'll be teleported away, in which case we can use the thread to track it. There's also a possibility that the thread will get dislodged, but we'd be no worse off than we are now.

"I don't know anything about opening interdimentional rifts, so if we want a new rift Nor will have to make it. We could also use one of the rifts in the Hamlet of Heroes. Rift B is conveniently close to a black hole."

"Nor home IS dark strong spot. Nor made problem when had shiny power and made home world go smoosh. So Nor put it in pocket plane and closed door in Crognac. Nor home contained in Nor realm. Kind of."
