"Yes, of course! We'll wrap them in bacon! Why didn't we think of that before? Or, you know, we could try something that actually makes sense."

"Yes. We had considered a similar course of action, though I do not believe the word 'bacon' was ever mentioned. However, it is incredibly dangerous to tempt a beast such as the Abrominae. It is best if we leave such a creature as far away from our Diamond Gardens as possible."

"Just need right bacon to draw sky viper in and back out of shiny lands! Trickses works!"

Nor, I suggest you brush up on your immortal history.

In the Icy Wastes, Steepest Loki, greatest trickster ever to live, convinced the other gods to feed the Abrominae tons of magic, saying it could draw the snake in or even make it go POP!

Instead their entire Facet was reduced to worthless rubble.

Or so I recall reading.

You'll have to do better than that, I believe, though I leave it up to the Council whether to try it.

Hmm. Yes, that is what happened with Loki. But there may be be different implementations of the same basic idea that are much more liable to work. For example, what if we tempted the Abrominae on some far-flung Facet? We would have to be careful not to tread magic everywhere we stepped, but it could be doable. We shall have to think much more on the matter. I would not be willing to risk it, however, until we are either sure such a plan will work or are quite imminently doomed by Ravana's approach.

"The elegant solution would be to bait the Abrominae into eating Ravana. The implementation would be tricky."

I second Thrash. You don't know what you're messin' with. Little Kundar, this is more than walkin' up a Steep hill. Your gravity influence won't help you with th' Abrominae, an' no one is a more powerful pan-Diamond tunneler. Mebbe that's a good route ta take? Wormhole is a suprisin'ly fittin' domain against somethin' you don't ever want ta get anywhere near your Facet.
