A Note and a Bowl

In the middle of the frozen ocean, in the shelter of a vast, twisted wave, there is a bowl of steaming hot honey and porridge. Next to the bowl is a note:

"To Trickster.
I thought that it might be hard to find food all the way out here, so I thought I would leave you some. I don't really know what you eat, or even if you eat, but I like porridge and honey, so I thought that you might too.
From Ptah."

When you check again, the honey is gone. The porridge mostly remains, with a cat's paw imprinted in it and a trail leading a short ways away before fading.

The note has been folded up into a paper crow, which begins following you around and cannot be convinced to leave.

One more thing I may have to smash one day. Keep an eye on it.

Don't worry, I won't break it without your permission.

I look at Thrash defensively.

"I like my new crow-ny. I shall name it Lester."

From my tone of voice, the pun was most definitely intended.
