I got something cool but not very useful seeming.

I have found a blood phial. One of my favorite items, though I think the blood ought to be mixed with some quicksilver like mine.

In any case, there are a few things to try here. I will apply some of the blood to the bloodstained tome

I found a rotsoil symbol. I will break it in half and put one of each half into the deep set eyes.

The two tomes are beneath a glass floor. You cannot put anything on them yet.

Putting some blood on the glass floor does nothing.

Nothing happens. You may still use the symbol as one whole symbol.

I will place the blood phial on the silver pan, then.

And I will place my blood phial on the golden pan.

The blood phials cause no change in the enchanted scale pans.

I'll toss the rotsoil symbol (mine) into the green gas.
