The Animus Symbol. I don't see that doing much but make the bats attack us...

It is my fault this layer's exploration has ended...I apologize for this...very slight inconvenience, I am sure...

I think...in my long absence...I have seen what the brilliant Yerkan could not... I shall try it soon.

I obtained a rotsoil symbol.

I believe our purpose is to get past these walls...

We all know that bat guano is...explosive...

And...flint and steel...?

And we all have daggers. Well done Aides, I believe you have bested me.

I will do the honors, in case the explosion proves dangerous. I strike my dagger against an arrowhead, attempting to send a spark towards the guano.

With a bang, the bat guano explodes, bursting the wooden wall. Bats stream out. They seem strangely drawn to the wooden dynamo. Flying into it, they turn it a bit. A weak beam of power sparks from the dynamo, diluted by the crystal behind the grapple but refracted successfully by the red, blue, and orange gems in their wire clips. A small charge reaches the Descent Pore Array which activates only for the briefest moment.

You will need more power from the dynamo, and the light from the crystal will need to be manipulated somehow, if you are to escape this Layer.

I will offer a rotsoil symbol to the chameleon. I have two of them.

Red, blue, and orange light should make a sort of violet color... But a violet gem is not heavy enough for the grapple.

The chameleon spits up an animus symbol after eating your rotsoil symbol.

When can we... expect... the next Phase shift?

Treachery will begin in approximately 8 hours.

Because of the delay, let us not worry about removing things from settings - I recognize that it is difficult to keep track over several month's time.
