So... I D V and a circle, or perhaps an 'O'.

Time to experiment! Me (and someone else) write all of these in the tome! There's plenty of pages left, right?

Yes, the book is thick.

Writing these letters does not produce any results.

I'll try inscribing all the letters on a single page, just to see what happens.

Then I try going in order by number: umber, orange, red, indigo.

Then I'll do that, except backwards: indigo, red, orange, umber.

Where umber is the hallow circle, orange is 'D', red is 'V' and indigo is 'I'.

There's gotta be something related to the fact that it's the first-person pronoun and not just the letter "I". But the rest of the letters don't help much...

I will give you a hint: I only said the part about first person pronouns because I looks like l.

I can be the golden seat, if it matters who is where.

Should we keep searching? I'll search.

But it may be that we have plenty to solve this already. At least it will test the RNG a bit more.

The Descent Pore Array roars to life in the room beyond the tall mirror.

I said I would do the honors of testing out the mirror defense systems...

First, I replace the shutters and snap them closed over the mirror.

I cross cautiously through the archway and into the other room. Unless there is more to describe here, I will step onto the descent pore array and descend!
