Moving the lever of the red velvet seat causes the quill to move erratically along the horizontal plane.

The tome appears to have writing on other pages, all in enormous letters, but you cannot read the words as they have been blotted out. A word or two is all that will fit on a page spread.

The lever does not seem to affect the mirror, but from the high seat you can see two horizontal iron rods on swivels attached to the sides of the mirrors.

Upon seeing the rods, I will attempt to move them in accordance with the joints.

Yerkan, as you move closer to the mirror, you notice the reflections of your party move closer to your own reflection and reach into their cloaks. They only move when you do.

Moving the iron rods does nothing.

Placing the umber gem in the umber crab causes a pattern to trace itself across the crab's carapace. It is a single large hollow circle.

Treachery phase will begin in approximately 18 hours. Remember that loot items have a chance to be destroyed if left in settings over Treachery phase.

I could try putting it in the indigo crab but it is probably not worth it.

Correct, Morbus. You find it only works when you are sitting in the golden seat, however.

Remember to remove any loot elements from settings within the next hour or two.
