The Throne of Thrash

When exploring the Diamond Pantheon, Thrash will take the form of a giant bearded clay golem, but with all the grace of a god.

My realm here is a city-size throne of rock on which I can sit and think and plan. Meanwhile, my entourage and visitors scurry about in man-size tunnels burrowed into the throne itself like a settlement cut into a mountain. The insides are lit with rocklight and torchlight. Winding labyrinths fill the earth under the throne, and fingers of earth stake out space as fringes along the Frozen Ocean.

I keep an embankment around a particular gulf of frozen water, from which I can scry on my corporeal body in the Material Plane.

A DP update on my campaign world: The Sailcloth Party members have just learned about the stable time loop that brought Yerkan and I here (and the big chunk of planet that got sucked into the wormhole, causing my present catatonic state in the Material Plane as the wound is cauterized). They're also finding many hints about a mysterious force called the Diamondlight Power, a divine force transmitted to those of epic strength. Once they unlock its secrets they may become Epic Level.

Additionally, they are exploring a powerful herb called Steep Nightshade, which grants prophetic insight. Each of them received a tattoo made out of the stuff. Since this plant is supposed to be originally a transplant from the Frosted Arboretum, and each tattoo in the Nightshade Tarot is linked to a particular domain, I thought I'd announce which characters have which tattoo in case you wanted to send them a dream or other influence.

Ash, the Spider - Vermin domain
Mirror, the Box - Technology domain
Timbersnake, the Doomed - divinity domain and the Simulacrum - soul domain.
Freyaline, the Lotus - nature and beast domain. (Volatilus?)

This Freyaline will hold my support. I will show this by having this mortal witness one of my famed hunts through the eyes of one of my wolf brethren running through the icy tundras of Tufftka, a realm of unyielding cold. Freyaline shall indulge in delivering the hamstringing blow to a bull super mammoth atop of one of Tufftka's mighty ridges. No more than 5 others including myself (distinct with fur black as pitch and eyes of fire) turned the beasts tusked wrath away for the needed instant. Crippled the pack backed the super mammoth off the ridge to plummet to its fate. The vision will fade as we celebrate the dusk with cries of victory towards the heavens.

I approach the massive throne of Thrash and speak unto him:

"Thrash, there is a shining piece of your surface which has been thrown into a distant Facet, as you know. There it has grown, surrounded by new material and matter and, if I am correct, grown life upon. I am heading there now, but I wish to bring others with me to help study this universe. For formality sake, I ask that I have permission to return to your corporeal surface and gather companions from the time when I left Thrash."

I will gather people, creatures, and plants of many types to populate. I take dwarves who will fill the niches beneath the surface and spread quickly; one of the dwarves who is extremely wise will also help me to establish magic in the new universe without destroying the laws of physics. I take humans who will adapt and grow to fill many niches, without becoming overpopulated. I choose elves to fill the forests, gnomes to take the hills, and orcs well-adapted for the canyons and deserts, among many others - though, of course, not to many so as to cause major population imbalance on Thrash.

Yes, take whomever you can agree to come with you.

And you're always welcome in my world. Come and go as you please - as long as no foreign threats are on your tail....

@Volatilus:

Freyaline spent about five minutes trying to figure out if it was a dream or reality, then moved on to fight a six-armed aqualith and loot the tower of an old elven wizard.

The tower and wizard and aqualith were all real, obviously. Full adventure log to follow soon.

I am pleased with Freyaline's success in the hunt, perhaps the next dream will be of my approval.
