Hmmm....

This is not how wolves behave in my world...perhaps I will send some of my own next time...

If, that is, you need a suitable encounter...? To test their mettle...? I have some ideas to make an interesting...counterpoint... to the earthen wolves.

Haha, each of the wolf-like earth spirits bears its own personality. There is no telling whether one will act fiercely like an alpha or more like a puppy. These were youths, barely a hundred thousand years of age.

But Drax grows complacent, flushed with his success. Gilderoy has grown prideful of his magics, Hafna of his strength, and Kulaveth of his loyalty. And I am uncertain whether my plans for them will work out if they are so arrogant. I would love to see how they fared against your creations.

Spoiler: show
All players are currently level six in fairly standard Dungeons and Dragons 3.5e, though they are somewhat light on equipment.

The young Steep Wolf, "Viktor," approaches Yerkan's abode. He sits on his haunches in the warmest part of the torchlight.

"I must hunt, Yerkan of Elish. I was told to find you. A Wolf cannot continue without the joys of the hunt. What shall be my prey?"
