Great Thrash receives the
Leash of Nehalennia.
This one-time use Artifact allows two deities to be bonded over the course of one game of Abyss. What one receives at the end, the other also receives, pro-rated by Tier. This power may be used only once.
It must be used before the second Treachery of the game.
If both are alive at the end, both their reward is effectively doubled.
If one is alive at the end, the dead one will still receive the reward anyway, and the living one will receive the same reward he normally would.
If both are dead, the leash is simply consumed.
With permission from an Unblemished, the Leash's power may be used on a transaction outside of Abyss, with similar odds.
The Leash can also be used to restrict up to 6 mortals at a time (exact number chosen randomly) at a time from running away from an encounter in another campaign Facet. If the Campaign Ruler allows the leash's use, the Campaign Ruler will receive 1 DM Favor/Tier and 1 Norn Favor. If the Campaign Ruler refuses, the wielder gains the Favor.
This campaign-level use does not consume the Leash, though it still only ever works on 6 total mortals.
Yerkan of Elish receives the
Gem of Nehalennia.
This Artifact causes unbearable temptation when used. The wielder can choose a target deity and a location. This location may alter the Circumstance slot until a die roll is made or the contest forgotten. This power may be used only once.
In essence, it fills the Circumstance slot more easily, if the wielder can think of a good reason why it should.
You may use it in one game of Abyss to trick another player into giving you a piece of loot that you specify. You must request a specific piece by name; if they don't have it, the power is lost.
The Gem can also be used to compel up to 6 mortals at a time (exact number chosen randomly) toward the location of an encounter in another campaign Facet.
If the Campaign Ruler allows the gem's use, the Campaign Ruler will receive 1 DM Favor/Tier and 1 Norn Favor. If the Campaign Ruler refuses, the wielder gains the Favor.
This campaign-level use does not consume the Gem, though it still only ever works on 6 total mortals.
Athena receives the
Apple of Nehalennia.
This Artifact may be consumed to add an item to your Abyss character for all future games. For example, you could choose to always have a harp from now on. This power only works once, but persists.
It does not work on Runestaves or Ancient Symbols.
Furthermore, this item you choose can be used to fill the Domain slot in an appropriate way.
You may also give small pieces of the Apple to up to 6 mortals in other campaign worlds. These mortals can use those slices to pack a week's worth of rest into a single night, or a night's worth of rest into an hour. If the Campaign Ruler allows the apple's use, the Campaign Ruler will receive 1 DM Favor/Tier and 1 Norn Favor. If the Campaign Ruler refuses, the wielder gains the Favor.
This campaign-level use does not consume the apple, though it still only ever works on 6 mortals.
These artifacts were distributed randomly, so if you wish to trade, work that out among yourselves.
